Ordering Rentals
The client first comes in to pick out their choice of tux or suit, shirt, and any accessories including tie, bow tie, and pocket square. The client is then informed that their rental will come in either the Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of the week of their event and that they will receive a text from us when it is in and ready to try on. We highly recommend that the client tries it on at the store in case there are any alterations or exchanges that need to be made. We require all renters to get measured either by us or at their local men’s store within a month of the event to ensure that measurements are recent and accurate. Once all measurements are acquired, we send the orders over to the rental company.
Trying on Rentals
Our rental company then ships the client’s tux over to us on the week of the event. We text the client to come in and try it on when it is received. When they come in, we have them put on their tux and accessories. We examine every piece to see if there is anything that fits improperly and needs to be altered or exchanged. The week of or even a day before is not too late to make any changes to their rental. We inform them again that we will text them when it is ready to try back on or pick up. If there are no necessary changes, they can pay and take it that day
Exchanges & Alterations
If an exchange needs to be made, we send over an exchange form to our rental company. They then ship or deliver the exchanges the days before or on the day of the event. If alterations are needed, we send it to our tailor and get it back in the following days. In some cases, exchanges are needed right before the event, and we personally go to our rental company to pick them up. We never let anyone go without their rental!
Returns
All rentals are due back the following Monday by 5 PM. Since we are closed on Sundays, there is a black drop box to the left of our front doors in case the client needs to return when we are not open. If rentals are late, there is a $20 late fee per day every day until it is returned. We tell this to all of our clients in person in addition to posting signs around the store and adding a reminder slip to their rental bag. Our rental company works with many other people and businesses other than just us. We need rentals back in a timely manner so others can wear them the following week.
Wedding Rentals
Wedding rentals are $180 Per Person and include: Tuxedo or Suit, Vest, Button-Up Shirt, Tie or Bowtie, Pocket Square, and Shoes (+$30)
- All members of the wedding party should get measured within a month before.
- Out-of-town members must get measured at a local menswear store or tailor.
- Rentals will arrive the Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon of the week of the wedding.
- All rentals must be tried on at the store to be checked for proper fit.
- Due back the Monday after 5 pm.
- A $20 late fee is charged each day it is late.
